With Shipit, you can easily use the GLS ShopDelivery service as both a private and a business sender. The service covers deliveries to GLS pickup points in various countries, and a pickup service is also available for businesses.

GLS services for Shipit customers

Description

All shipments include continuous parcel tracking.

Parcels are taken to Matkahuolto service points for dispatch. A paid separate pickup can also be added when creating the shipment.

A regular pickup can be arranged for more frequent shippers, please contact Shipit customer service about scheduled pickups.

EuroBusiness parcel services include two delivery attempts for business recipients and one for private recipients, after which the parcel is delivered to the nearest GLS location (GLS ParcelShop) for pickup — if available in the destination country.

Dimensions and estimated schedules

Deliveries to private individuals in Sweden go directly to pickup points.

Estimated delivery times to Sweden and the Baltics are 24–72 hours. More distant European countries 3–5 working days and remote areas within 8 working days.

Please note that GLS delivery time estimates start only when the shipment has arrived at GLS in Turku.

Maximum shipment weight is 30 kg. Maximum dimensions: Length 200 cm, width 80 cm, and height 60 cm. Combined length + girth max. 300 cm.

Attach the address label on top of the package so that the Posti address label is visible on top. The entire barcode must be clearly visible.

  • Drop off the shipment at your nearest Matkahuolto service point.

  • Shipments will be delivered to a GLS ParcelShop pickup point.

  • Note: Delivery methods may vary by country.

Business sender:

  • A paid pickup service can be added when creating the shipment.

  • For orders placed before 11:30, pickup is scheduled for the same working day.
    For orders placed after 11:30, pickup will take place on the next working day.

  • Pickup time during working hours: 08:00–16:00

GLS does not call before delivery.

Boxes with external handles or protruding parts are not allowed as shipping packages.

Delivery time:
If the delivery address is in a more remote area, the delivery time may be extended.

Shipments include parcel tracking.

Additional information:
For shipments outside the EU, a customs HS Tariff Code must be provided. You can find tariff codes on the Finnish Customs website: https://tulli.fi/etusivu

The address label is two-part. Attach both parts to the package so that the Posti address label is on top and the entire barcode is clearly visible.

Logo package

The logo package includes logos of different shipping companies and Shipit.fi in PNG and SVG formats. You can download the logo package by logging into our program with your own user credentials. If you don't have user credentials yet, you can register as a business customer. After registration, you can log in to the program and download the logo package. You'll find the logo package in the program menu: My Settings → Materials.
