With Posti's Home Parcel, you send the package to the recipient's door. Delivery is arranged separately with the recipient. In major cities, Home Parcel can be delivered during evening delivery.

Delivery times: In major cities until 9 PM, in others either by 2 PM or 5 PM.

Through Shipit, you can order Posti's Home Parcel with paid separate pickup or without. Shipments without pickup must be brought by the sender to a Posti outlet where packages must be picked up within 5 days.

Posti's home parcel is based on volumetric weight

Description

Sending a postal parcel with Shipit. With Postal Parcel, you send your package to the nearest Posti pickup point or Posti locker for the recipient. The package is available for pickup from the locker by 6 PM on the day of arrival.

The shipment must be picked up within 5 days of arrival.

Sending a package to a Parcel Locker. SmartPost and Postal Parcel have merged. Sending a postal parcel via Shipit to a locker: Log in as a business customer by entering the code you received after payment, then select the box size, M, L, or XL.

Postal Parcel includes package tracking.

Parcel lockers are a convenient way for private individuals and businesses to send packages. The package is brought by the customer to the locker or nearest Posti. Postal parcel delivery time is typically 1–2 working days, normally after 4 PM. In the Helsinki metropolitan area, Turku, and Tampere, packages are also available for pickup on Saturdays.

The recipient will receive a text message when the package arrives at the locker, remember to add the recipient's mobile phone number to the shipping information.

A package sent to a locker must be picked up within 5 days of arrival.

Postal parcel is based on volumetric weight

Posti's EMS service (Express mail service) is a worldwide express delivery service. The shipment is brought to the nearest Posti by yourself. The package is delivered separately from other mail using the fastest possible transportation. Estimated delivery times vary from 1–3 working days for EU shipments to 2–8 working days for the rest of the world.

EMS shipments are not delivered to PO boxes or Poste Restante addresses.

Depending on the size, the package will be delivered either to the mailbox/letterbox or to the recipient's door. You will receive a notification once the package has been delivered.

Additional Information

Attach the printed address label to the package so that the entire barcode is clearly visible. The barcode must not bend around the package.

The shipment is brought to a Posti outlet by yourself and it is delivered only to private individuals. If the recipient cannot be reached during the first delivery attempt, the shipment can be picked up from a pickup point.

Send a package to Sweden or Denmark. Delivery time to Sweden 2–5 and to Denmark 2–4 working days. The shipment is brought to a Posti outlet by yourself and it is delivered for pickup at a pickup point or locker.

The recipient receives an electronic arrival notification. The storage time for pickup after arrival is 7 days.

Description

Posti's Express service is well-suited for online stores as the shipment can be delivered to your customer's workplace using Express parcel service. The shipment is generally delivered the next day by 2 PM, excluding some remote areas. If the recipient cannot be reached during delivery, the shipment can be picked up from the nearest Posti office, where it will be stored for 7 days.

Posti freight in Finland. Posti's freight service is a door-to-door transport that is primarily delivered in 1 working day to the recipient, excluding sparsely populated areas. Delivery batches over 5000 kg are typically picked up the next day. Delivery time 8 AM-4 PM.

Dimensions

The shipment must be packed on a pallet if its weight exceeds 35 kg.

• Maximum weight per item: 1000 kg

• Minimum weight: 25 kg

Exceptions in freight bases, the following shipments should be reported with weights as follows:

• Bicycle when transported individually 90kg
• Motorcycle 925kg
• Scooter/Moped 500 kg

Send a package abroad. Priority Postal Parcel is a worldwide Posti parcel service that is delivered to the nearest pickup point for the recipient.

In the following countries, it includes one delivery attempt to the recipient's address: Netherlands, United States, Belgium, Spain, Ireland, Great Britain, Italy, Austria, Greece, Croatia, Latvia (only to business addresses), Lithuania (only to business addresses), Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Malta, Norway (only to business addresses), Portugal, Poland, France, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Denmark, Czech Republic, Hungary and Estonia. Service changes may occur, please check updated information on Posti's website.

In other countries, it is taken to the recipient's postal office. The recipient will be notified of the arrival.

Do not use PO Box addresses.
