How to Enable Shipit Delivery Methods in Your Clover Shop E-commerce Software

  1. Register for Shipit as a Business

    1. Connect the Shipit Integration to Your Preferred Delivery Methods

      • In your online store’s admin panel, go to Settings > Delivery Methods.

      • Select Shipit Integration from the Integration section.

    2. Enter Your API Credentials

      • API_KEY: Enter the Merchant ID provided by Shipit.

      • API_SECRET: Enter the Secret Key provided by Shipit.

    3. Activate Your Shipit Account

      • Add funds to your Shipit Wallet or request Shipit to activate a billing account for you.

    4. Print Shipping Labels Directly from Clover Shop’s Admin Panel

      • Save time and reduce errors by transferring customer-filled data directly to Shipit’s transport management system (TMS).

      • Shipit has an EDI connection with carriers for seamless shipping management.

If you would like to become a billing customer, please email your billing details to asiakaspalvelu(at)shipit.fi. Include your company name, contact person’s name, business ID, and phone number. We offer e-invoicing and PDF invoices via email as billing methods.

If you use a Shipit integration in your online store, you must either apply to become a billing customer or add funds to the Shipit wallet.

As a business shipper, please remember to register as a business customer first in order to see pricing and services intended for companies in the price calculator.

If you ship more frequently, please contact our sales team directly at myynti(at)shipit.fi or submit a contact request.

You can use either Shipit’s pre-negotiated carrier agreements or your own carrier contracts. You may also combine your own contracts with Shipit’s agreements — simply inform Shipit’s customer service of your own contract details and select additional carriers using the Shipit add-on.

Billing as the payment method

If the service you are cancelling does not include pickup, the shipment will not be invoiced until the carrier has received it.

However, if the service includes pickup—such as UPS, GLS, or freight shipments—the shipment must be cancelled via customer service (chat, phone, or email). This ensures that the carrier does not attempt an unnecessary pickup. These shipments are also activated on the invoice automatically, and cancelling them requires the invoice line to be voided.

Payment method: Wallet

If you cancel a service that does not include pickup and the shipping label is not activated by the carrier, the amount paid will be automatically refunded to your wallet after the label expires. Please note that this process may involve some delay.
If you wish to speed up the refund, you can request it directly from our customer service via chat, phone, or email.

If the service includes pickup, such as UPS, GLS, or freight shipments, the shipment must be cancelled through customer service (chat, phone, or email) to prevent an unnecessary pickup by the carrier. In these cases, the paid amount is not automatically refunded to your wallet.

Payment method: One-time payment

All shipments must be cancelled via customer service (chat, phone, or email) so that we can process the refund and cancel the pickup if necessary.
The payment is usually refunded to the original payment method used for the transaction.
