Pricing Based on Volumetric/Chargeable Weight

Charges are always based on the weight and volume reported by the carrier

Additional handling fee of €11.70 per package is charged if additional handling is needed and applies in the following cases:

  • Items packed in metal or wooden packaging

  • Cylindrical items like barrels, cans, or buckets that are not fully boxed

  • If the box has handles, wheels, or other protrusions

  • Packages with longest side exceeding 100cm or second-longest side exceeding 76cm

  • Packages with actual weight greater than 32kg

Large package surcharge, €58.76 + fuel surcharge

  • A package is considered large if its combined length and girth
    girth = Length + 2 x width + 2 x height exceeds 300 cm, but is no more than 400 cm.

  • The billing weight for a large package is minimum 40 kg.

Remote area delivery surcharge €5.20 and extended area surcharge €0.67 per/kg minimum €31.79

Sending Packages Abroad

UPS Comprehensive Services

UPS offers businesses pickup service for Express, Standard, and Expedited options. Pickup can be arranged through our customer portal or website chat, Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, by email, or through our chat. Alternatively, shipments can be dropped off at a UPS Access Point.

Please note that if the recipient is a private individual and cannot be reached, UPS may leave the package at the nearest Access Point.

UPS Services for Shipit Customers

Service from UPS Access Point to UPS Access Point with Express and Standard services.

  • Pickup point to pickup point delivery

  • Delivery to most European destinations next business day with Express service and according to schedule estimate with Standard service.

  • Only for EU internal deliveries


There may be longer distances in remote areas at the receiving end, so please confirm with the recipient that the nearest point is within a suitable distance.

Access Point search shows the nearest pickup and drop-off points as well as UPS Access Points' opening hours and last drop-off times for same-day dispatch.

UPS Access Point shipment maximum length is 97 cm and weight 20 kg.

Note: You can find UPS Access Points in provinces through UPS's Drop-in search. When sending through Shipit, you need to search for Access Points with exact postal codes in provinces, while in the Helsinki metropolitan area, Turku and Tampere axis, points appear normally with all postal codes.

Logo Package

The logo package includes logos of different carriers and Shipit.fi in PNG and SVG formats. You can download the logo package by logging into our program with your user credentials. If you don't have user credentials yet, you can register as a business customer. After registration, you can log in to the program and download the logo package. You'll find the logo package in the program menu: My Settings → Materials.
