Comprehensive package services domestically and to Europe

Matkahuolto offers comprehensive package services for businesses and online stores in Finland. Over 2,500 package points and automated parcel lockers across the country enable easy sending and receiving of packages. Particularly for online stores, Matkahuolto offers solutions that improve customer experience and optimize logistics.

Through Matkahuolto, businesses can also send packages abroad. The service covers deliveries to Sweden, Baltic countries, and elsewhere in Europe. Sending packages abroad is easy and cost-effective, and deliveries can be made both to doorsteps and pickup points in the destination country.

Matkahuolto Activation Code

The activation code can be used to send Matkahuolto Lähellä packages and XXS packages without a printer, domestically as well as to Estonia (not to other countries). The code is written clearly on the package, and the package is taken to a Matkahuolto point for shipping.

You can find the activation code on the address card: it's the number sequence above the barcode (not below it).

The recipient receives a text message and email as usual once the shipment has arrived. The activation code does not open the parcel locker or allow pickup from a point, the message the recipient receives contains separate instructions for picking up the package.

The activation code is therefore only for sending without a printer, not for pickup.

Services

Description

XXS packages are taken to Matkahuolto points (all points) for delivery, the shipment can also be dropped off without an address card by using an activation code.


The recipient receives an arrival notification by text message once the package is available for pickup.
The package is picked up from the point or locker stated in the arrival notification.


The package is stored free of charge for 5 days at pickup points (5 days at lockers as well), after which an uncollected package is returned to the sender's home-location Matkahuolto office at the sender's expense.

  • Package storage time 5 days at parcel lockers, 5 days at shops and points.

  • Max. dimensions 40x25x3 cm.

XXS package price list for registered wallet & invoice customers

Description

Matkahuolto Pick-Up Parcel Locker is suitable for companies sending packages to consumer customers, especially online stores. The package is delivered to a selected Matkahuolto parcel locker.

The recipient receives an arrival notification by text message or email once the package is available for pickup, and picks up the package from the locker using the code included in the arrival notification.

If the package is too large for a parcel locker, the shipment is automatically redirected to the nearest Matkahuolto service point, and the recipient is notified of this by message.

Shipments with cash on delivery (bus advance) cannot be sent to parcel lockers.

Matkahuolto Pick-Up Parcel Locker does not support multi-parcel shipments (more than one package per shipment), one order always corresponds to one package.

The package is delivered to a Matkahuolto office or a Matkahuolto agent's parcel point (e.g. a shop or kiosk), also without an address card by using an activation code.

The recipient receives an arrival notification by text message or email once the package is available for pickup. The package is picked up from the parcel point stated in the arrival notification and handed over against an official ID.

The package is stored free of charge for 5 days at the service point, after which an uncollected package is returned to the sender's home-location Matkahuolto office at the sender's expense.

Matkahuolto Pick-Up Parcel Service Point does not support multi-parcel shipments (more than one package per shipment), one order always corresponds to one package.

Business Parcel is brought by the sender to a Matkahuolto or Matkahuolto agent's office.

Business Parcel includes shipment tracking.

Business Parcel is best suited for companies, and delivery is not announced separately, delivery takes place between 8 am and 4 pm.

If the recipient cannot be reached and the package cannot be delivered, the package is stored free of charge for a total of 5 days, after which an uncollected package is returned to the sender at the sender's expense, unless otherwise agreed.

Live animals, perishable goods, or content that violates the terms of transport cannot be sent in this package.

Business Parcel supports multi-parcel shipments, up to 5 packages per shipment to the same recipient.

Business Parcel with pickup

The product description is the same as Business Parcel, but pickup from a specified address can be ordered by selecting the pickup service from the additional options. Pickup must nevertheless be activated separately through Shipit customer service before the shipment is created.

The package is generally transported within 1-3 business days and delivered to the recipient on the business day following arrival at the destination.

Home Parcel includes shipment tracking.

The recipient is contacted by text message for Home Parcel, and the package is delivered to the recipient at the destination on the following business day, as agreed.

If the recipient cannot be reached and the package cannot be delivered, the package is stored free of charge for a total of 5 days, after which an uncollected package is returned to the sender at the sender's expense.

Live animals, perishable goods, or content that violates the terms of transport cannot be sent in this package.

Home Parcel supports multi-parcel shipments, up to 5 packages per shipment to the same recipient.

Home Parcel with pickup

Pickup from a specified address can be ordered by selecting the pickup service from the additional options. Pickup must nevertheless be activated separately through Shipit customer service before the shipment is created.

NOTE. Address cards are valid for 14 days from the order date.

Logo Package

The logo package includes logos of different transport companies and Shipit.fi in PNG and SVG formats. You can download the logo package by logging into our program with your user credentials. If you don't have user credentials yet, you can register as a business customer. After registration, you can log into the program and download the logo package. You can find the logo package in the program menu: My Settings → Materials.
