Pick-Up Parcel is suitable for all businesses that send packages to consumer customers, especially online stores.
Pick-Up Parcel can be dropped off at Matkahuolto or Matkahuolto agent parcel points, parcel lockers, and can also be dropped off at stores and kiosks using an activation code found on the shipping label, and if needed, without an shipping label. If the customer chooses a parcel locker, the maximum package dimensions are:
For deliveries to parcel lockers, the recipient receives an arrival notification via text message or email, packages are stored in parcel lockers for 7 days.
Shipments with bus cash on delivery cannot be sent to parcel lockers.
If the package is too large for delivery to a parcel locker, it will automatically be redirected to another nearby Matkahuolto parcel point, the recipient will be notified of this by message.
Multi-parcel shipments cannot be sent to parcel lockers.
The recipient receives an arrival notification by text message when the package is ready for pickup.
The parcel is picked up from the service point indicated in the arrival notification and is released upon presentation of official identification.
The parcel is stored free of charge for 7 days at pickup points (automated lockers 7 days), after which uncollected packages are returned to the sender's local Matkahuolto at the sender's expense.
