Comprehensive package services domestically and to Europe

Matkahuolto offers comprehensive package services for businesses and online stores in Finland. Over 2,500 package points and automated parcel lockers across the country enable easy sending and receiving of packages. Particularly for online stores, Matkahuolto offers solutions that improve customer experience and optimize logistics.

Through Matkahuolto, businesses can also send packages abroad. The service covers deliveries to Sweden, Baltic countries, and elsewhere in Europe. Sending packages abroad is easy and cost-effective, and deliveries can be made both to doorsteps and pickup points in the destination country.

Description

XXS Parcels are taken to Matkahuolto points (all points) for delivery, the shipment can also be dropped off for delivery without an address label using an activation code.

The recipient receives an arrival notification by text message when the package is ready for pickup.

The parcel is picked up from the service point indicated in the arrival notification and is released upon presentation of official identification.

The parcel is stored free of charge for 7 days at pickup points (automated lockers 7 days), after which uncollected packages are returned to the Matkahuolto at the sender's expense.

Description

Pick-Up Parcel is suitable for all businesses that send packages to consumer customers, especially online stores.

Pick-Up Parcel can be dropped off at Matkahuolto or Matkahuolto agent parcel points, parcel lockers, and can also be dropped off at stores and kiosks using an activation code found on the shipping label, and if needed, without an shipping label. At the recipient's end, the shipment is picked up from the same package points.

Instructions for parcel lockers

If the customer chooses a parcel locker, the maximum package dimensions are:

  • 70x40x57 cm

For deliveries to parcel lockers, the recipient receives an arrival notification via text message or email, packages are stored in parcel lockers for 7 days.

Shipments with bus cash on delivery cannot be sent to parcel lockers.

If the package is too large for delivery to a parcel locker, it will automatically be redirected to another nearby Matkahuolto parcel point, the recipient will be notified of this by message.

Multi-parcel shipments cannot be sent to parcel lockers.

The recipient receives an arrival notification by text message when the package is ready for pickup.

The parcel is picked up from the service point indicated in the arrival notification and is released upon presentation of official identification.

The parcel is stored free of charge for 7 days at pickup points (automated lockers 7 days), after which uncollected packages are returned to the sender's local Matkahuolto at the sender's expense.

Business Parcel is brought by the sender to a Matkahuolto or Matkahuolto agent service point.

Distribution Package includes shipment tracking.

Business Parcel is best suited for businesses and distribution is not separately notified, but delivery is handled between 8 AM and 4 PM.

If the recipient cannot be reached and the parcel cannot be delivered, the package is stored free of charge for a total of 7 days, after which uncollected packages are returned to the sender, unless otherwise agreed, at the sender's expense.

The parcel cannot be used to send live animals, perishable products, or content contrary to transport terms.

Business Parcel with pickup

Product description same as Business Parcel but includes pickup from a specified address.
Pickup must be ordered separately by Shipit chat or calling 020 720 8488.

Package is typically transported within 1-3 business days and delivered to the recipient on the next business day after arrival at destination.

  • Maximum weight 35 kg

  • Maximum dimensions, parcel maximum circumference (length + width + height) is 300 cm.

  • Maximum length 230 cm.
    Maximum 5 packages per shipment to the same recipient.

Home Parcel shipment is dropped off by the sender to a Matkahuolto or Matkahuolto agent service point.

Home Parcel shipment includes shipment tracking.

For home parcel, the recipient is contacted by text message and delivered to the recipient at the destination as agreed on the next business day.

If the recipient cannot be reached and the package cannot be delivered, the package is stored free of charge for a total of 7 days, after which uncollected packages are returned to the sender at the sender's expense.

The package cannot be used to send live animals, perishable products, or content contrary to transport terms.

Home Parcel with pickup

Pickup must be ordered separately by calling 020 752 8488.

NOTE: Address labels are valid for 14 days from order.

Logo Package

The logo package includes logos of different transport companies and Shipit.fi in PNG and SVG formats. You can download the logo package by logging into our program with your user credentials. If you don't have user credentials yet, you can register as a business customer. After registration, you can log into the program and download the logo package. You can find the logo package in the program menu: My Settings → Materials.
