Wolt is an originally Finnish technology company that provides a platform for ordering and home delivery of food and other goods. The company was founded in 2014 in Helsinki by Miki Kuusi. Wolt's business focuses on a mobile application-based service that enables ordering products from local restaurants, stores, and other vendors directly to customers' doors.

Wolt's service has rapidly expanded to several countries worldwide and now operates in over 20 countries. The application connects users with local restaurants and stores while providing a courier service that handles product delivery. Wolt stands out from competitors by offering a user-friendly platform, fast deliveries, and high-level customer service.

In 2021, Wolt merged with globally operating DoorDash, which has further expanded its operational area and service offerings.

In package delivery, Wolt offers extremely fast local deliveries in urban areas, making it a great option for online retailers. All Wolt deliveries are 100% carbon dioxide emission compensated, so you can trust in environmentally friendly delivery. Additionally, Wolt's services offer the possibility to save on packaging materials. However, it's important to remember that shipments must be packed carefully enough and be easily handled to prevent product damage during transport. This service is only available for online retailers.

For pharmacies

Wolt's delivery methods are particularly useful for pharmacies as they enable fast delivery, even within an hour, to the customer's door. With Shipit, it's easy to add Wolt's delivery methods to the pharmacy's online store.

  • Quick implementation: Shipit's implementation process is quick and straightforward. After registration, the pharmacist can activate Wolt delivery services by providing postal code areas to Shipit's customer service. After registration, in addition to Wolt, the pharmacist immediately has access to all other delivery options offered by Shipit.

  • Easy integration: Shipit integrates with various e-commerce platforms, making it smooth to add delivery methods to the online store.

  • Clear pricing: Pharmacists only pay for completed deliveries – no hidden costs or monthly fees.

Wolt services for Shipit customers

The service activates immediately when an order is created in Shipit's system and the package is delivered to the recipient generally within an hour after pickup is completed.

Once pickup is completed, the recipient receives a tracking link via text message, which allows
tracking of the shipment's progress.

Logo package

The logo package includes logos of different shipping companies and Shipit.fi in PNG and SVG formats. You can download the logo package by logging into our program with your user credentials. If you don't have user credentials yet, you can register as a business customer. After registration, you can log into the program and download the logo package. You'll find the logo package in the program menu: My Settings → Materials.
