Jakeluyhtiö Suomi Oy is a privately owned Finnish company that has operated in the Finnish distribution market since 2016. Its parcel delivery services are based on home delivery.

JYS’s distribution network covers approximately 2.2 million Finnish households, with deliveries carried out both in early-morning and daytime distribution rounds.

SUOMIPAKETTI KOTIIN S

The shipment is delivered to the recipient’s mailbox or mail slot.
The maximum dimensions for the Suomipaketti Kotiin S small parcel are 3 × 25 × 40 cm, and the maximum weight is 2 kg.
Shipments are generally delivered within 2–4 business days from arrival at Jakeluyhtiö Suomi’s terminal.
If delivery is not possible, the shipment will be redirected to a Matkahuolto/Posti pickup point for collection. The pickup location is determined by the delivery area.

Instructions for handling JYS shipments

All JYS shipments must always be consolidated into one linehaul shipment and sent to JYS’s terminal in Vantaa.

A linehaul shipment refers to one larger parcel that contains multiple individual shipments, each with its own shipping label.

The linehaul shipment for JYS deliveries is free of charge when created via the Shipit system’s top menu under Linehaul Shipment.

For example, if you have created ten JYS shipments, pack them all into one large box, create a linehaul shipment in the Shipit system under Linehaul Shipment (the address details will be added to the shipping label automatically), and take the linehaul shipment to a Matkahuolto service point or parcel locker.

At the terminal, the linehaul parcel is opened and the individual shipments are forwarded for delivery.

Please note that the delivery time starts only once the linehaul shipment has arrived at the JYS terminal.

The linehaul shipment to JYS’s terminal in Vantaa is carried out using Matkahuolto services.

Creating a linehaul shipment

Create the JYS shipments in your online store / shipping tool
Select Linehaul Shipment from the top menu in the Shipit system
Select the shipments to be sent by clicking on them
Click the Create Linehaul Shipment button
Enter the dimensions and weight of the entire linehaul shipment and select the desired service (the dimensions of the large parcel that contains the smaller parcels)
Finally, click the Create Shipment button — the shipping label for the linehaul shipment is now ready

Service description:

Shipments are generally delivered within 2–4 business days from the time they arrive at Jakeluyhtiö Suomi’s terminal.

JYS shipments must always be sent consolidated into one linehaul shipment to JYS’s terminal in Vantaa.

You cannot send JYS parcels individually. One linehaul shipment must contain at least 10 parcels.

Download the JYS logo

The logo package includes the logos of various carriers and Shipit.fi in PNG and SVG formats. You can download the logo package by logging in to our system with your own user credentials. If you do not yet have user credentials, you can register as a business customer. After registering, you will be able to log in to the system and download the logo package. You can find the logo package in the system menu: My Settings → Materials.
