Posti is closer to customers than ever – an expanding pickup point network benefits Shipit customers

Posti continuously develops its pickup point network so that online shoppers can collect their parcels easily close to home or along their everyday routes.

Currently, parcels can be collected from approximately 1,079 staffed service points and nearly 2,174 parcel lockers (of which 378 are outdoor lockers). Posti’s parcel lockers already offer more than 182,487 compartments. In 2025, Posti opened nearly 500 completely new or expanded parcel locker locations and increased the number of compartments by more than 31,000. During the summer, cooperation also began with Hesburger and YH Kodit, bringing parcel lockers to restaurant premises and housing company courtyards – close to home and everyday routes.

Customer satisfaction for parcels delivered by Posti to private customers was 4.5/5 in 2025 and 4.47/5 in January 2026. The level remains strong, reflecting a strong commitment to customer needs and continuous service development.

Posti’s new warehouse in Järvenpää – efficiency and responsibility

In spring 2025, Posti opened a new warehouse in Järvenpää, located along excellent transport connections. This is not just about new facilities, but about taking the entire supply chain to the next level – with responsibility and efficiency going hand in hand. The Järvenpää warehouse responds to the growth of e-commerce and companies’ need for flexible, scalable and sustainable logistics solutions. The first phase covers more than 35,000 square metres and 70,000 pallet locations. Read more about the Järvenpää warehouse.

Second-hand goods are driving growth in online shopping

The circular economy strengthened its position in 2025 as consumer behaviour and business models continued to evolve. The sale of second-hand goods has increasingly moved online, and at the beginning of the year, every fourth e-commerce parcel delivered by Posti contained a second-hand product. This shift reflects a broader change in value creation: a product’s lifecycle no longer ends at the moment of purchase. Companies that succeed in extending product lifecycles and keeping goods in circulation can unlock new revenue streams, improve margins and build stronger customer relationships.

Posti supported this change throughout the year by offering customers practical and scalable circular economy solutions. To support growth across different markets, Posti provided a device pickup service throughout Europe and strengthened its mobile device refurbishment capabilities by adding two glass polishing machines. These services are delivered through five Posti Green Hubs across the Nordic and Baltic countries, creating a strong foundation for circular economy logistics.

Finland’s largest clean transport fleet – towards fossil-free transport by 2030

Posti operates Finland’s largest clean transport fleet: parcels and other e-commerce shipments are transported by approximately 1,000 electric and gas-powered vehicles, as well as around 1,500 electric light vehicles, ranging from scooters to delivery carts. In addition, a large part of Posti’s remaining vehicle fleet runs on renewable diesel. Minimising driven kilometres and maximising vehicle load factors are also an essential part of Posti’s daily environmental efforts. Posti’s goal is to achieve fully fossil-free transport by 2030.
