2025 was a significant year for Shipit. Despite a challenging market environment, the use of Shipit grew, the software continued to evolve, and the network expanded in both Finland and Sweden. Shipment volumes increased significantly, Shipit launched its own Shopify app, and the role of Shipit evolved more clearly toward a transportation management system (TMS) solution.

The year 2025 was significant for Shipit. The operating environment was challenging in many ways, but despite this, the use of Shipit grew, the software continued to develop, and the network expanded in both the Finnish and Swedish markets. During the year, the focus was particularly on smooth shipment volumes, continued software development, and building long-term growth.

Shipment Volumes on a Clear Growth Path

Shipment volumes processed through Shipit increased by nearly 30% from 2024 to 2025.

The growth demonstrates that Shipit’s services are increasingly used as part of companies’ daily logistics operations. For many businesses, Shipit is a core part of the delivery process—not just a standalone shipping tool.

Customer Base Development

In 2025, Shipit’s customer base continued to grow despite a challenging market situation. An increasing number of companies chose Shipit as part of their everyday delivery and logistics operations.

Today, Shipit is trusted by thousands of business customers, reflecting the service’s established position and long-term trust among companies of all sizes.

Launch of Shipit’s Own Shopify App

In 2025, Shipit launched its own Shopify app, Shipit Delivery Checkout. The app brings delivery management directly into the Shopify environment and strengthens Shipit’s position as a delivery solution for e-commerce businesses.

The launch marked a significant milestone in Shipit’s product and software development. It exceeded expectations, and the app already has 500 active users.

Software Development and a Shift Toward a Stronger TMS Role

During 2025, Shipit’s software was developed with several new features. The goal of this development work was to improve usability, increase scalability, and better meet the increasingly diverse needs of business customers.

As a result of these improvements, Shipit’s role has expanded from a traditional shipping tool toward a more comprehensive transportation management solution. In addition to e-commerce, the focus is increasingly on SaaS-based operations, serving both B2B and B2C shippers.

With the renewed software, Shipit now functions more clearly as a TMS (Transportation Management System)—a tool that brings transportation management, tracking, and control together in a single system.

Network Expansion

In 2025, Shipit’s network grew with five new partners and integrations:

Team Growth

Growth was also reflected internally at Shipit. During 2025, the team was strengthened with three new employees. In early 2026, four additional professionals joined the team.

The growth of the team supports Shipit’s next phase of development and strengthens our ability to serve a growing customer base while continuing to develop the service in a long-term and sustainable way.

Looking Ahead

The year 2025 strengthened Shipit’s position as part of companies’ daily delivery operations. Growth in shipment volumes, a continuously evolving software platform, and an expanding partner network provide a solid foundation for the years ahead.

A Strong Start to 2026

The year 2026 started strongly. In January, more than 50% more new business customers joined compared to January of the previous year.

During January, two new Shopify add-ons—Multi Location and Pack & Scan—were also released. These add-ons support more versatile use of the Shipit Delivery Checkout app in different e-commerce environments.

The strengthening partner network and the onboarding of new, significant B2B customers further reinforce Shipit’s position as a transportation management solution for large enterprises. More details on these developments will be shared at a later stage.

At the same time, the team was strengthened with four new employees, enhancing Shipit’s ability to further develop the service and serve increasingly complex customer needs.
