Today on April 1st, 2021, Shipit has acquired Posti's entire letter delivery business and begins the merger of the companies. The acquisition is an important part of Shipit's new strategy to start a multi-front freedom fight against electronic communication.

Background of the Acquisition
The background is Shipit's aim to replace all world's emails and instant messaging services with letters.
A letter is an effective means of communication. Writing it is difficult and requires effort. We believe that letters will significantly reduce especially unnecessary internal communication in companies. Additionally, receiving a personal letter always has its own excitement. Letters can also include various nice little surprises along with the message, such as discount coupons. At Shipit, we've long since abandoned the use of emails, Slack, and other nonsense. Emojis travel just as well to the recipient by letter too!" explains Lari Pihlajapuro.
The New Company is Shiposti.fi and Deliveries Are Easy
The acquisition and merger are to be implemented immediately. Planning for the new group name began years ago and has partly delayed the completion of the acquisition earlier. After competent advertising agencies, numerous workshops, and hard artisan work, the new name was finally decided to be Shiposti.fi.
"Shiposti rhymes with 'helposti' (easily), so we can later develop this into a company rap in line with our employer branding and HR strategy to attract all top technology and logistics professionals to our company" says Lari Pihlajapuro.
