PostNord Oy Going Green

Did you know that:

➞ All PostNord delivery vans carrying home and business packages in the metropolitan area now only fuel up with renewable diesel.
➞ This means that more and more PostNord packages are delivered fossil-free in Helsinki and its surrounding municipalities.
➞ PostNord is increasing the use of fossil-free fuels and electricity at an accelerating pace in the coming years.
➞ PostNord aims to offer completely fossil-free transport services by 2030.

During autumn 2021, PostNord has already switched over 40 delivery vehicles and 12 trunk lines to renewable diesel. When renewable diesel is used in a vehicle, no carbon dioxide emissions are generated during transport.

Currently, zero emissions means electric vehicles charged with renewable energy, but as technology advances, PostNord will also introduce other climate-friendly transport methods.

In addition to emission-free last mile delivery, PostNord will produce all transport services fossil-free by 2030 and offers them carbon-neutrally already now by compensating for their climate emissions.

The climate demands action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, PostNord is joining the fight against harmful emissions.
