Posti has announced that due to significant cost increases, contract prices for postal and parcel services will increase from June 1st, 2023 until further notice.
The price increase will also affect Shipit's Posti parcel service prices:
Domestic parcel service prices will increase by 3%.
International parcel service prices will increase by 3%.
Pickup and delivery service prices will increase by 3.8%.
Additional services Large and Fragile prices will increase by 3.8%.
Additional service fees will be updated as follows, new prices per item:
Dangerous goods transport (DGR): €5.00
LQ transport: €5.00
Personal delivery: €5.00
Call before delivery: €4.50
Extended storage time: €1.50
Prices will automatically update in Shipit's shipping calculator and program on May 31st at 16:00, but as an e-commerce merchant, you need to consider these price increases in your store's shipping costs and manually update your store's shipping fees according to the new pricing.
