Shipit wants to make everyday life even easier for online retailers. In domestic traffic, all Matkahuolto shipments under 0.09m³ will now be billed based on weight only. The change applies to Matkahuolto's Nearby Package, Home Delivery, and Distribution Package services.
For example, a shipment measuring 60cm x 40cm x 35cm and weighing 2 kg will now be priced based on the 2 kg weight alone – size does not affect the price for shipments with a volume weight under 22.5 kg.
This change brings easier pricing for online retailers and potential savings.
Please note that the change only applies to domestic shipments and the new contract prices are valid throughout 2024.
