Posti is making changes to their product terms, which will take effect on Monday, January 15, 2024.

Dimensions increase for Home Parcel, Express Parcel, Return Parcel, and Unclaimed Parcels in the Large additional service:

  • Longest side: 240 cm (previously 200 cm)

  • Longest side + circumference: 350 cm (previously 300 cm)

  • Maximum weight 35 kg (previously 25 kg for Home Parcel, Return Parcel, and Unclaimed Parcels)

Updates to international parcel service dimensions:

  • Parcel Connect: Longest side 100 cm (previously 120 cm), maximum weight 25 kg (previously 31.5 kg)

  • PickUp Parcel: Longest side 100 cm (previously 150 cm)

  • Express Business Day Parcel: Longest side 100 cm (previously 120 cm), maximum weight 25 kg (previously 35 kg)

  • Home Parcel: Longest side 100 cm (previously 200 cm), maximum weight 25 kg (previously 35 kg)

  • Priority Postal Parcel and EMS Express Parcel: Longest side 100 cm (previously 150 cm), maximum weight 25 kg (previously 30 kg)

  • Postal Parcel to Baltic countries: Maximum weight 25 kg (previously 35 kg)

  • Dimensions remain unchanged for Large additional service

Individual parcel shipping now possible with Express Freight:

Posti offers a more affordable individual parcel option for Express Freight, allowing you to order shipments exceeding package maximum dimensions directly as Express Freight without a transport platform.

  • Individual parcel max weight 35 kg, max length 300 cm, length + circumference max 500 cm.

  • Posti will now direct shipments exceeding package maximum dimensions to Express Freight.

  • Posti will charge an additional fee according to the price list for deliveries sent with incorrect product type.

Changes to correction fees:

  • Correction fee for shipments made with incorrect product is now €4.50 / shipment (previously €8.50).

  • Correction fee is charged for example when a Small Parcel exceeds service maximum dimensions and must be changed to a Postal Parcel.
