Changes to PostNord Home Parcel (MyPack Home) from 8 January 2026

PostNord is updating its Home Parcel (Kotipaketti / MyPack Home) service across the Nordic countries to better meet growing consumer expectations for flexible and convenient deliveries. Deliveries that require the recipient’s signature no longer align with the need for smooth and hassle-free home delivery.

The changes will take effect on 8 January 2026 and apply to Finland, Sweden, and Norway.

What’s changing in PostNord Home Parcel?

From 8 January 2026, the standard PostNord Home Parcel service will include delivery:

  • to the mailbox, or

  • to the front door

The recipient does not need to be present at the time of delivery. The courier will take a photo of the parcel as delivery confirmation, after which the shipment is marked as delivered.

New optional services for PostNord Home Parcel (Kotipaketti)

For shipments that require personal handover or confirmation, PostNord will offer the following optional services:

Attended

  • The parcel is handed over to a person present at the delivery address (no signature required).

  • Price: €0.60 per parcel

Signature assurance

  • The parcel is handed over only against the recipient’s signature at the delivery address.

  • Price: €1.00 per parcel

These services are optional and can be selected when creating the shipment.

Selecting optional services in Shipit’s shipping tool

In Shipit’s shipping tool, you can now select PostNord Home Parcel optional services directly during shipment creation.

How to select an optional service:

  1. Select PostNord Home Parcel

  2. Choose the desired optional service, or continue without selecting one

  3. Click Confirm and continue

PostNord Home Parcel shipments can also be sent without any optional services.
