As of March 1, 2026, DHL Freight is transferring its domestic pickup and delivery operations to the transport network of Suomen Kaukokiito Oy. This change replaces the previous collaboration model with Posti.
The transition does not affect the capital region (postal code areas 00100–08800 and 11000–11910), where DHL Freight will continue operating domestic pickups and deliveries through its own transport network.
This change has no impact on DHL Freight shipments made through Shipit—deliveries will continue as usual.
According to DHL Freight, the transition to Kaukokiito's transport network strengthens domestic delivery capacity and brings improved delivery reliability and predictability. A similar operating model has been in place in the Joensuu economic region since February 2026, with positive results.
