Many Shopify merchants wonder whether their Shopify plan affects how Shipit Delivery Checkout works. The good news is this: Shipit Delivery Checkout works on all Shopify plans, from Shopify Basic all the way to Shopify Plus.
Please note that your Shopify plan does not affect which shipping methods Shipit offers. The same carriers and delivery options are available on all plans. The differences between plans relate only to Shopify’s own features, such as how delivery options and prices can be displayed to customers.
To make it as easy as possible to find the right information, we have created clear, plan-specific pages that explain in more detail how Shipit Delivery Checkout works on different Shopify plans.
Shopify Basic – the most common plan among Shipit customers
The majority of Shipit customers use the Shopify Basic plan, so we want to make this clear right away:
All Shipit shipping methods are also available on the Shopify Basic plan.
On the Shopify Basic plan, Shopify does not support the CCS feature (Carrier Calculated Shipping). This means that customers cannot select a pickup point at checkout.
However:
all Shipit shipping methods and carriers are available
shipments, shipping labels, and tracking work as usual
the pickup point is selected during order processing
When you follow the “EI CCS” instructions during setup, Shipit Delivery Checkout works reliably on the Shopify Basic plan as well.

Shopify Grow – CCS available via Shopify
On the Shopify Grow plan, the available shipping methods are the same as on Shopify Basic.
The difference is that CCS may be available if it has been enabled by Shopify.
When CCS is enabled: customers can select a pickup point at checkout
Without CCS, Shopify Grow works in the same way as Shopify Basic.

Shopify Advanced – CCS enabled automatically
On the Shopify Advanced plan, CCS (Carrier Calculated Shipping) is enabled automatically.
This means that Shopify can:
calculate shipping prices automatically based on order details
allow customers to select a pickup point at checkout
The available shipping methods and carriers are still exactly the same as on all other Shopify plans.

Shopify Plus – the most extensive Shopify plan
Shopify Plus is Shopify’s most comprehensive plan. CCS is included automatically, and all Shopify delivery-related features are available without plan-specific limitations.
On the Shopify Plus plan as well:

differences relate only to Shopify’s functionality, not to Shipit’s services

What does CCS mean in practice?
CCS (Carrier Calculated Shipping) is a Shopify feature.
It does not determine which shipping methods you can use, but how shipping prices and pickup point selection are handled by Shopify.
With CCS:
customers can select a pickup point at checkout
Without CCS:
all shipping methods are still fully available
the pickup point is selected during order processing
