We are improving the functionality of the Shipit Wallet and its reporting features to make them clearer and easier to use.
Below is a summary of the changes:
Previous reports: Shipments under the old reporting system will still be credited as before, if the shipment has not been sent.
Reserved wallet funds: In the new wallet report, reserved funds for upcoming shipments will be shown. (We can add an illustrative image if needed.)
Visibility of shipments: Shipments will appear in the wallet report only once the price has been confirmed or if the shipment has been activated automatically.
If a shipment has already been charged, any additional costs will appear as a separate charge.
Processing of funds after shipment: Once a shipment has been sent, its value will be deducted from the reserved funds and added to the wallet report transactions.
Unsent shipments: If a shipment is not sent within approximately 90 business days, the reserved funds will be released back into the wallet balance.
Customers may still request a refund at any time before the 90-day deadline, just as before.
Thanks to these updates, using the wallet will be clearer and more similar to traditional invoicing.
