What is a customizable email?

A customizable email is an automatic message sent to your customer as soon as an order has been shipped and a tracking code has been generated. The message informs them that Your order is on its way and includes the tracking information the customer is waiting for.

Shipit's customizable emails are an easy and effective way to strengthen your brand at exactly the right moment, when the customer is waiting for their package!

This message is sent automatically to all customers of your online store, and because it includes a tracking link, its open rate is close to 100%. It offers the perfect opportunity to improve the customer experience, build trust, and showcase your brand's look and messaging.

When a customer receives a message featuring your company's own logo, colors, and style, it instantly feels familiar and trustworthy, and it's more memorable.

Here's how to get more out of the "Your order is on its way" message:

  • Add your own logo with a link to your online store

  • Customize colors and fonts to match your brand

  • Add your own social media links and choose the link colors

  • Add your own text, for example a monthly campaign or important announcement, with a link of your choice

  • Add an image, such as a product showcase or promotional banner, with an optional link

Pricing

Sending customized messages is both easy and affordable

Pricing is based on the number of messages sent per month:

  • 0–99 messages / month: €3.90 / month

  • 100–499 messages / month: €6.90 / month

  • 500–2500 messages / month: €9.90 / month

  • Over 2500 messages / month: €9.90 / month + €0.03 / additional message

Pricing is clear and flexible, we bill you once a month based on your actual email sending volume.

1. Own settings

Log in to the Shipit platform and go to Own settings in the top right corner.

2. Additional features

Select Additional features from the left menu (second-to-last item on the list).

3. Customizable email

Select Customizable email from the list of additional features. In this view, you can choose how many messages you want to send per month, and you'll see the monthly prices at the same time. You can change the amount later if needed.

4. Activate

Finally, click Activate feature in the bottom left corner. Customized emails are now activated, next you can start creating your own message!

Finalizing the setup of your customized email

Next, go to another view in the platform, for example the homepage, by clicking the Shipit logo in the top left corner. Then return to the Own settings section.

You'll now notice a new button has appeared in the left menu under the Additional features heading: Customizable email.

Click the Customizable email button to start creating an email message that matches your brand.

Creating a customized email is easy and effortless

Editing the email has been made extremely easy. Watch the tutorial video and example message to clearly see how you can:

  • change the colors of fonts, links, and background

  • add your own logo with a link to your online store

  • add a promotional banner or image along with custom text

  • add your own link to both the image (banner) and the text field

You can also send a test message to your own email to see exactly what the message looks like from the customer's perspective before activating it.

Here is an example of an email that a customer has customized.

What the customer did:

  • Added their own logo along with a link to their online store

  • Edited the heading, meaning the introductory text

  • Added social media links (fields can be left empty if not all channels are in use)

  • Changed the image at the bottom of the email and added a link to their online store

  • Wrote a current campaign in the text field at the bottom of the email

  • Selected the colors for fonts, links, and background from the logo using the color picker tool, so the color scheme matches the brand exactly

  • Added contact details at the end of the message, showing only the social media links the customer had added, empty fields are not displayed at all
