Creating a shipment on Mobile Sending a Package on Mobile | Shipit.fi | Shipit

With Shipit, you can now easily send parcels on mobile too.

Mobile customers can send packages without printing shipping labels. Currently, Matkahuolto's Nearby package service supports mobile shipping on Shipit.

Here's how:

  1. Fill in the required shipping information, verify that dimensions and weight are correct, and ensure the package is properly packed.

  2. Pay for the shipment on mobile (billing customers will be invoiced for completed shipments on their next summary invoice)

  3. Download the shipping document to your mobile or use a printer.

    • If you print the waybill, attach it carefully to the shipment so that the barcode is clearly visible.

  4. Take the shipment to your chosen Matkahuolto location.

  5. If you haven't attached the waybill to the shipment, provide the activation code at the Matkahuolto location. The activation code is the number sequence ABOVE the barcode on the shipping label. If you create the shipment on a computer and take it to the service point without a printed shipping label, you can email the shipping documents to yourself to access them on your phone and show/recite the activation code.

  6. At the counter, staff will scan the barcode or enter the activation code after you recite it, print the address information, and attach it to the shipment.

  7. Package is on its way! You can track your shipment by registering on Shipit's website or using the tracking code found on the shipping document.
