Important things to consider when sending a package to Great Britain.
Great Britain is also known as England.
You can send a package to England via Posti, GLS, FedEx, or UPS.
B2B – If you create a shipment from business to business, this requires an EORI number from you and the recipient.
B2C – If you make a shipment to a private individual, this requires VAT registration in Britain and you will need to pay VAT on behalf of the customer. With UPS services, you can create the shipment with just an EORI number for private individuals.
C2C shipments (private to private) work the same way as normal shipments outside the EU.
When sending a package to England, you must write the location in the shipping calculator in the following ways:
Including securities, valuables, and substances. Money and lottery materials.
Other restricted shipments include food items, seeds, dyes, alcohol, and tobacco products.
Read more about restrictions in prohibited items and dangerous goods sections.
Also note carrier-specific restrictions.
Fill in the shipping information in English.
